ABSTRACT This research focuses on the study of pre-Hispanic buildings located in the complex inflammatory Archaeological
Caral in the Supe Valley, a hundred and eighty-two kilometers north of Lima.

monumental structures, the dating of various textiles found in the pyramids through radiocarbon tests result in an age close to five thousand years (dating between 3.000 and 2.600 years BC), determining that comprise one of the oldest architectural complex discovered in America. Officially

From a scientific approach is an approximation to mythical thinking astronomical time and influence as a variable in the decisions for the organization of architecture at Caral.
The study establishes correlations between pre-Hispanic architecture and astronomy from understanding the concept and observing the time of the ancient people through the analysis of ceremonial buildings and architectural components to collateral duties were watching the sky, who served as tectonic calendars seasonal indicators (beginning of winter or the Andean new year) and lunar cycles for the efficient administration of agricultural production and organizing tasks of extracting marine resources.
